Image Book

The Visbion Image Book is a laptop based radiology review workstation.

It is the perfect companion for mobile review of high quality images and contains a full Dicom interface for connection to devices such as CR, DR or ultrasound. The system comprises all the tools expected from a high end radiology workstation; features include side-by-side image comparison, a full range of measurement tools, reading and burning of CDs or DVDs, and importing, exporting or emailing of JPEGs or AVIs.

The Image Book can optionally copy its images to a central archive when it is connected to a network. This can be a local Visbion Image Archive solution or the online Visbion Image World PACS system. By transferring the images, they can be stored and backed up securely and be made available for viewing by other clinicians. The transfer can happen using a wired network, Wi-Fi or even a 3G connection to the internet.
