Visbion ChiroPACS Chosen by University of Glamorgan

Visbion’s leading edge ChiroPACS System and diagnostic workstations have been installed at Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, University of Glamorgan
 
Welsh Institute of Chiropractic is a public teaching clinic designed to provide excellent quality but affordable chiropractic care to the community and offer a valuable, quality learning environment for the student clinician as part of their Masters of Chiropractic undergraduate degree. Investing in the latest technology is key in providing such a service.

PLH Medical Ltd, Visbion’s Chiropractic sales partner supplied ChiroPACS, which has been connected to their Agfa CR system, allowing staff and students to view and manipulate patient images throughout the University. Visbion’s Image Web solution allows quick and easy access to diagnostic quality images via a standard web browser on any networked PC. Images can also be viewed on Visbion’s high resolution diagnostic workstations.

Dr Kristin Grace, Senior Lecturer Radiology at Welsh Institute said “Our radiographers, Clinic managers, Clinic tutors and Student clinicians have all commented on the consistency of image quality, accessibility and rapid report time.”
